To conclude this, Portrait or Landscape mode doesn't matter if you know how to choose a best mode that suited to what you want. But you must be sure
to make decision. It doesn't mean all photos are suited to landscape or portrait mode all the time and it doesn't mean it bad at all but just not a great
image.
3. Avoid using flash
flashlight of smartphone is located very close to the lens, it can be a very nasty reflecting. if you turn flash mode on while your are taking picture,
you will get a very bad picture. You want your picture look natural but when you use flash mode, you will get a bad reflect to your lens that produce a image that
doesn't look natural. The best way to take the best pictures is in daylight. The gold hour to take the best pictures is in the morning between 6 to 9 o'clock and before sunset 1 hour.
The exception to this rule, if you really cannot avoid this, try to use flashlight to replace your smartphone flashlight.

To get a great look composition of image, you must enable Grid in your smartphone device. The rule of third is a simplest rule for photography and also the most important rule for photographer to know.
The idea is our eyes is attracted to the image that divided into third and the subject is not in the center. it slightly off-center to the left or right. Normally, your object should be at the intersection of
horizontal and vertical line. it should not in the middle unless you are taking a symmetry picture.
